The town of Jhansi, called after the Indian warrior. Jhansi is a city that has a very bright history. It is situated in the Bundelkhand region and is the headquarters of Jhansi district and Jhansi division. Jhansi also known for its good climatic conditions.

Jhansi is founded by Raja of Orchha. Jhansi is a historic town in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is in the range of Bundelkhand on the banks of the Pahuj River, in the ultimate south of Uttar Pradesh.

We also called Jhansi the "Gateway to Bundelkhand". Jhansi is located between the rivers Pahuj and Betwa at an average height of 285 meters (935 feet). It is about 415 kilometers (258 mi) from New Delhi and 99 kilometers (62 mi) south of Gwalior.

The initiation of the National 4 Highway Development Project tapped Jhansi’s industrial growth especially. Now its industrial sector is manned by Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., Bharat Petroleum Corporation and many other small and average rule businesses.
